NextGen Welcomes More than 70 Newcomers

On Sunday, October 18th, over 70 young professionals in their 20s, 30s and 40s gathered at the beautiful home of Bruce Abrams, long time Federation supporter, for the semiannual NextGen Newcomer's Brunch

The brunch, organized by the NextGen Newcomer's Committee, brings together new San Diego transplants and new community members for a festive morning of networking, icebreakers and classic Jewish brunch food (i.e. bagels and lox).

Danny Fleischer, NextGen Manager said, “Newcomer's Brunch is one of my favorite events we do.  It’s really nice to see so many new community members coming together to build relationships and learn about Jewish Federation and NextGen.  Many of our most engaged and involved volunteers got their start at Newcomers Brunch so we know this program works.”

Newcomer’s Board Chairs Zach Warburg and Dor Ashur are working on some follow-up events for the year.  If you’re new and want to get connected, feel free to reach out to Danny Fleischer at Danf@jewishfederationsandiego.org.
