Explores true stories surrounding the execution of Holocaust organizer Adolf Eichmann in 1962 Israel, The 1961 trial of Adolf Eichmann is revisited in a gripping and surprising new vision from American filmmaker Jake Paltrow (The Good Night). Based on true accounts, the film presents the intertwined perspectives of three largely unrelated figures: Haim, Eichmann’s Jewish Moroccan prison guard; Micha, Auschwitz survivor and Israeli police investigator for the prosecution; and David, a 13-year-old Jewish Libyan immigrant. These characters’ disparate points of view paint an image of the Diasporic Jewish people and, in its unorthodox narrative approach, the film reminds us that we are connected through shared traumatic pasts.
