In 2017, Birthright Israel brought more participants than at any point in the program's history by providing the experience of a lifetime to more than 48,000 young Jewish adults worldwide. Their goal is to ensure the gift of Birthright Israel continues to strengthen Jewish continuity and provide even more young Jewish adults with a connection to Israel for years to come.This year, their plan is to go even further, as they expect to welcome 50,000 new participants to the program.
