On Wednesday evening at the beautiful new SDSU  Hillel, Federation hosted our biannual event to thank our more than 300 amazing volunteers for all they do in helping us build a vibrant, caring, connected and enduring Jewish community. The mood was festive and inviting as staff and volunteers mingled, noshed, and celebrated the extraordinary things we've accomplished together.

Federation Board Chair Brian Tauber was master of ceremony, and awarded the prestigious Board Chair Award to Simone Ableson, NextGen Board Chair; Karen Kogut, Women's Philanthropy Chair; and Andy Ratner, Federation Board Member, for their inspiring service and dedication.

Karen Silberman, daughter of Pauline and Stanley Foster z"l, had the honor of presenting the Pauline and Stanley Foster Young Leadership award to Yoni Levinger, NextGen leader and creator of Torah on Tap, and Simone Abelson, for their extraordinary impact on our community’s young adults.

Todah rabah to all the 300+ volunteers whose generous contributions are invaluable to the work of Federation throughout our community.
