Federation’s Women's Philanthropy is holding a Passover food drive and volunteer event in partnership with Jewish Family Service of San Diego's Hand Up Youth Food Pantry.

For those seeking to donate food, please bring kosher foods for Passover Matzo, Passover Candies, Passover Macaroons, and Gefilte Fish. These are food items that JFS’s pantry partners do not provide.

If it is more convenient for you, please drop off your Passover food donations at Jewish Federation of San Diego County, 4950 Murphy Canyon Road, San Diego, CA 92123 before April 7, or bring your food items with you on April 7 to Jewish Family Service of San Diego when you volunteer.

Join us with your teen or pre-teen children and help us pack food for those in need. Some of these people will be struggling families and Holocaust survivors, domestic violence victims, care management clients, and single Jewish parents.

For security reasons we are only able to accept 30 volunteers, so please be sure to sign up immediately if you plan to volunteer to secure your spot.
