Women’s Philanthropy Relaunches Brunch Club

Guest speaker, Yael Raz Lachyani, P2G Director in Sha’ar HaNegev, is joined by several San Diego woman as part of a special Women's Philanthropy Brunch.

On Friday, November 30th, more than 25 women attended a Women’s Philanthropy Brunch Club at a private home in Del Mar. The guest speaker was Yael Raz Lachyani, Sha’ar HaNegev’s Partnership Director, who shared her story of living on the Gaza boarder and how our dollars have offered trauma support, emergency relief, psychological services, and resources to foster resiliency in the region.

This event was a relaunch of Brunch Club, and brought together new women to Women’s Philanthropy as well as long time veterans. The setting lent itself to an intimate conversation with friends. Future events are in the works, so stay tuned!

Next up for Women’s Philanthropy? Everyone is invited to attend OPTIONS, our community’s largest gathering of Jewish women all year, and is encouraged to be a table captain. This year, OPTIONS will be held on Sunday, February 24th at the Torrey Pines Hilton Hotel. Registration will open soon.

I am happy that the Brunch club has returned. I was involved on the Women's Board a number of years ago when we had Brunch Club, and the Speakers lunches, and Women's Seder. When all of that was removed, I left and got involved with JFS. Please keep me up to date on these new activities. Would love to attend.
thanks,
Nancy Gordon
