Join us and make a positive difference
in the life of a local Jewish senior

The Kibitz Call Line is a volunteer-driven, social call program, designed to provide invaluable connection and friendship to local Jewish seniors. Whether it’s a quick check-in to say hello or to talk about a favorite television show or movie, sporting or current event, volunteers help offer invaluable social connections for those that may be at an elevated risk of loneliness or social isolation.

Here are the 4 easy steps to become a Kibitz Call Line volunteer:

  1. Review the volunteer qualifications & responsibilities
  2. Fill out a volunteer application
  3. Have a 1:1 conversation with our staff
  4. Read the volunteer toolkit and participate in a training session

Please note:

  • We match volunteers with a senior participant based on similar interests. It could take 2-3 weeks to be matched.
  • We ask that all volunteers commit to the Kibitz Call Line for a minimum of 6 months.
