Women's Philanthropy

Women’s Philanthropy is a community of diverse women who share a personal commitment to supporting the Jewish community and participate meaningfully in the fundraising efforts of Federation and its strategies.

Women’s Philanthropy offers a full calendar of educational, social and fundraising events. This passionate community of women raises more than 1/3 of Federation’s annual campaign each year.

Inspired by Jewish values, Women’s Philanthropy broadens and deepens engagement in Jewish life to strengthen Jewish identity, foster dynamic connections with Israel, and care for all Jews in need.

We invite you to join us in an environment where every Jewish woman can enrich and strengthen her identity as a woman and a Jew and help make a difference in our world. At a time when apathy and assimilation threaten us, we invite you to join the thousands of Jewish women who are leading by example.

  • Women's Annual Campaign

The Women's Annual Campaign gives every woman the opportunity to make a gift in her own name and to assume individual responsibility for saving, sustaining, and enriching Jewish lives. In addition, these women lead other women and their own families by example. Get involved with our Federation by making a gift to our Annual Campaign and make a difference in our world today.

Each year, Women's Philanthropy holds a signature event to celebrate the power of women and raise critically needed funds for our local and global community.

Join more than 1,000 San Diegan Jewish women this winter — dates to be announced!

  • Social Action

Women's Philanthropy Board Members get involved with the San Diego community and participate in various projects throughout the year. Providing holiday gifts for families in need, collecting shoes for local shelters and visiting seniors at Seacrest Village Retirement Communities are just a few ways we have provided meaningful engagement for our community.
