Join us for the launch of our Dignity Grows Chapter in San Diego. Dignity Grows is a national organization which empowers neighbors in need with free comprehensive and menstrual hygiene supplies for everybody. Enjoy a delicious Kosher-style brunch [sponsored by Urban Kitchen Group] followed by a panel discussion with several of our Poverty Working Group partners to learn more about Jewish poverty in San Diego and how we are helping to alleviate the issue.

One of the ways we’re working together to reduce poverty in our community is by addressing hygiene poverty with Dignity Grows. Dignity Grow provides monthly personal and feminine products to anyone who needs them but cannot afford them. Founded by the Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford’s Women’s Philanthropy, Dignity Grows embodies the Jewish values of Tzedakah (righteousness) and Tikkun Olam (repairing the world). We’ll close out our event with a packing party where we’ll assemble tote bags filled with a month’s supply of free menstrual and basic hygiene supplies that will go to our neighbors in need!
