Spend your summer in the theatre! Understanding Lewis utilizes the classic archetypes from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland to tell a new story about the end of seemingly irrevocable loneliness. The play follows Lewis who lives on the outskirts of society and is constantly tormented by figments of his own imagination. These figments, which are the embodiments of classic Wonderland characters, are determined to make sure that nothing changes in Lewis' life. Everything feels hopeless, until Alice stumbles into the picture and learns to accept Lewis for who he is.
