CONNECT. DISCOVER. EXPERIENCE.

Be a part of the San Diego Jewish community's transformative trip across Israel, experiencing its immense natural beauty, dynamic religious expressions, rich culture and history, vibrant cuisine, incredible innovations, and remarkable and diverse people.

Registration is now closed.

If you would like more information or would like to be added to a waitlist, please contact Debbie Tirouda at dtirouda@jewishinsandiego.org.

A CommUNITY Trip to Israel enables you to engage with Israel through exclusive access to premier hotels, venues, and experiences. Along with fellow San Diego Jewish community members, you will meet with high-level government officials, journalists, academics, and experts in a variety of fields, while also connecting with everyday Israelis. Most of the trip experiences will be in groups of 30-40 people. We’ll also have special, meaningful moments when our entire group gathers, representing people involved in our local synagogues and Jewish agencies, as well as people who are looking for deeper connection.

Jewish Federation of San Diego County wants to celebrate Israel’s 75th birthday and the 25th Anniversary of San Diego’s partnership with Sha’ar HaNegev with YOU. Be part of Israel’s next chapter and join this historic trip during the most beautiful time of the year! As a participant, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful gift on this trip of a lifetime.  We hope you will be inspired by your experience and make a significant contribution to increase the impact YOUR Federation makes in Israel.

During phase one of registration, you will be asked to submit basic contact information, travel partners, accommodation requests and a deposit. In October 2022, we will ask for passport information and travel/flight information, and you will provide information on requests for additional activities and special interest electives.

Please note that if you are traveling with a spouse/companion, you will be asked to complete the below information for each participant separately using a different, personal e-mail address for each. The online registration allows each participant to register one time.

Upon completion of the application, you will be asked to pay a deposit of $500 per registered participant. Please see our Pricing, Payment Schedules and Insurance Page for a full payment schedule
